Terms and Conditions
1. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the company, these conditions shall override any terms or conditions incorporated or referred to by the purchaser in his order or negotiations.
2. Our policy being one of continuous improvement, we reserve the right to alter specifications and/or products without notice.
3. Orders can only be lodged by purchase on this website.
4. Delivery (UK and EU): All orders will be subject to carriage charges payable in full by the client. From time to time we may run promotions on delivery charges but these will only apply specifically to the product or products shown.
5. Damages or Shortages: If a claim is to be made for damages or shortages among goods delivered, notification must be made to us within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Where a complete parcel is missing, or obviously damaged, the carriers delivery note must be endorsed to that effect. Please ensure when signing for a damaged parcel, the carriers receipt is signed and the word 'Damaged' is written. We cannot be responsible for claims if this is not strictly adhered to.
6. All goods are subject to availability.
7. We cannot accept any liability for damage to property or injury through mis-use of equipment purchased.
8. No Wooden weapons used in Martial Arts are under Warranty if used for Contact or Sparring.
9. Metal weaponry and nunchaku are sold on the basis that the purchaser is of at least the relevant statutory minimum age to purchase these items. We reserve the right to request martial arts licence information before despatching these items.
10. Refunds and exchanges can only be made for goods that are returned in the original packaging, unworn, unused and unwashed. Refunds will only be given where the item or items concerned are obviously defective in some manner. Requests for exchanges of goods should be made by e-mail to our returns department so that a dialogue can be opened as to the most effective way to deal with any issues. Contact us at returns@fareasterncombat.co.uk Exchanges of product will only be considered for reasons of size. Where products are 'One Size' there is no exchange policy. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.
11. We may e-mail you with details of promotions we are running. We do appreciate, though, that you may wish to opt-out of receiving such e-mails. Please either write to no_mail@fareasterncombat.co.uk to confirm this or, upon receiving your first promotional e-mail, reply with 'unsubscribe' in the subject line.
